To avoid any confusion and to establish yourself as a wholesale customer, you will be required to follow a specific set of criteria to maintain your wholesale status:
1. You must be a registered business with a legal business name.
2. You must have a legitimate business licence number.
3. You must agree to spend the minimum $100.00 per order (a very small minimum per today's standards)
4. You must agree to purchase in minimum quantities (as shown on our wholesale website)

Information regarding the labelling of product per
Health Canada Regulations |
All of our products are registered and approved by Health Canada. Part of the approval process is the full disclosure of the ingredients used in the manufacturing process of our soaps. All ingredients and percentage of ingredients must be approved by Health Canada long before any of our items are sold to the public. This is true of both retail and wholesale customers.
To comply with Health Canada, all of our retail and wholesale orders must have ingredient labels placed on the product. Some wholesale companiens will choose to lable under their own design, in which case, we will disclose the ingredients via email or hard copy. It is then the responsibility of the wholesaler to disclose the ingredient list per Health Canada requirements using their own label.
One of the easiest ways to avoid all the "red tape" is to purchase our product with the labels(and ingredients) already fixed to the product. |

A Commercial Invoice is required for all ‘FedEx International Ground’ shipments regardless of value. A 'Customs Broker' is required for all FedEx International Ground shipment valued at $200 CAD and over, as well for certain commodities regardless of value.
We (The Yellow Belly Frog Company) have an active account with FedEx Trade Networks for Customs Clearance and as such are your 'Customs Broker' by default. We will be applying a C.O.D. charge to your order including the standard following items:
1. a entry service fee
2. a FDA Processing Fee (soap is considered a hazardous product by Customs moving into the U.S. from Canada)
3. a merchandise processing fee
4. applicable duty
5. single transaction bond premium
Please remember this is a not for profit line item, as the Customs Fees are what they are (we have NO control over these fees) - we are paying and then collecting from you. In fact, we pay an additional processing fee to make sure your packages are processed at Customs in a professional manner. This additional charge is NOT included in the shipping fee that the shopping cart charges. Remember, shipping fees and Customs / Brokerage fees are two separate fees. |
